The firm [VAR_SITE_NAME]
Roots in Normandy, expertise without borders
As head of the firm ‘AUGE HORIZON NOTAIRES’, Maître Gwladys BOKO BOUMBA-CAUBET embodies a vision of the notarial profession that combines a local focus, openness and forward-thinking. Her career, at the crossroads of two legal cultures, enables her to support not only families and businesses in the Pays d’Auge and across France in general, but also clients facing international legal situations.
Her career combines fifteen years’ experience at the heart of the French notarial profession with thirteen years spent living and working in the United Kingdom. This experience now enables her to assist clients with equal ease, whether their projects are based in France or abroad. A graduate with an MBA and specialising in private international law, Maître BOKO BOUMBA-CAUBET practises her profession with the conviction that the law must, above all, be understood, anticipated and used to support people’s life plans.
Having returned to the Normandy of her childhood following her time in the UK, it was only natural that she chose to settle in the Pays d’Auge, drawn by the authenticity of its landscapes, the richness of its heritage and the warmth of the human connections that characterise the region.
Today, Maître CAUBET is supported by a team of experienced colleagues. They all know the Pays d’Auge from the inside out – its families, its businesses and its local communities. This close connection to the region, combined with an awareness of national and international issues, enables the practice to support a diverse range of clients.
Behind every authentic deed lies the coordinated work of an entire team. From welcoming clients to preparing files, from drafting deeds to completing formalities, everyone contributes to ensuring personalised support, clear information and legal certainty for every project.
More than just providing legal support, Maître CAUBET and his team aim to become a trusted partner, capable of supporting their clients through the major milestones of their lives as well as in their day-to-day decisions. Convinced that advice given at the right time can often prevent future difficulties, they place foresight, clear communication and the quality of their advice at the heart of their practice.
This approach to the profession is fully in line with the raison d’être of the French Notarial Profession, which the entire office embodies in its day-to-day work:
“Under the authority of the State,
To advise with rigour and impartiality,
To support with compassion and discretion,
To give expression to the balance of wills within the framework laid down by law,
To preserve deeds for all time,
And to act in this way to foster peace at the heart of society.”
Our values
Anticipate, Inform, Support
We firmly believe that the role of a notary is not limited to drawing up deeds or intervening only at major life milestones.
Every important decision – whether it concerns your family, your assets, a property project, your business or an estate – has legal consequences that can often be anticipated. Our mission is to help you understand these consequences so that you can make your decisions with confidence and build your plans on solid foundations.
Planning ahead
The best advice is often that which is given before a problem arises.
Planning ahead means taking the time to examine your situation as a whole in order to identify the legal, financial and family implications of your choices. It also enables you to consider several options before a decision becomes irreversible.
This approach underpins every area of our practice, whether it be family law, inheritance, wealth transfer, property law, business law or private international law.
Because planning ahead means avoiding the hassle.
Clarifying
The law is often complex. Our role is to make it understandable.
We believe that clients make better decisions when they truly understand the issues they face. That is why we prioritise clear, accessible and informative advice, taking the time to explain the applicable rules, their practical implications and the various options available to you.
For our international clients, this commitment to making French law accessible also involves providing bilingual support, helping to overcome any difficulties arising from language barriers or differences between legal systems.
Our aim is not merely to answer your questions, but to give you the tools to understand the decisions you make.
Support
Every situation is unique. So is every client.
Beyond the legal aspects, we attach great importance to the quality of the relationship we build with our clients. Availability, attentiveness and a personal touch are the foundations of support based on trust.
From the initial consultation right through to the signing of the deed of sale, and throughout the subsequent formalities, we are committed to supporting you with the same high standards of rigour, responsiveness and discretion.
Because behind every case there are, above all, people – with their plans, their families, their assets and, at times, their concerns – we strive to provide advice tailored to your situation, precisely when you need it most.
We firmly believe that advice is only valuable when it is given at the right time, explained clearly and tailored to each client’s individual circumstances. It is this conviction that guides the way we practise as notaries, every single day.
